Your Binibini 2 – who is a Georgetown University graduate – is one of the more impressively-credentialed candidates in this year’s batch. And her confidence compliments a gift of gab that leaves an excellent command of the English language, be it in oral or penned forms.
Here is how she sums up her inclusion as a contender for the 54th Edition:
“I am so excited to be a part of Binibining Pilipinas 2017! It is a great honor and I am so humbled to have been chosen out of 90+ women from around the country. As we have seen, the Philippines has so many admirable and accomplished pageant queens. One queen that I truly admire is Pia Wurtzbach because of her determination and perseverance. One of my favorite non-Filipina queens is Olivia Culpo, Miss Universe 2012. She is a beauty queen who proved that you really don’t need to be a certain height to make a positive difference in others’ lives. I look forward to continue being a spokeswoman to the youth. I am so grateful for my mentors, Aces and Queens and Mafae Yunon-Belasco, for guiding me in this journey. #GoCalingo
”
It certainly appears that Arienne is in it to win it, however trite the phrase sounds to the ear. And she will prove that she is more than just a deserving Binibini. A Bb. Pilipinas titleholder even.
